March 11 - Magic Kingdom, WDW
Off to the Magic Kingdom again. We started off in tomorrow land, where there were a couple of cool rides.
First up, though, our two "L's" posing on the big L in front of our resort while we waited for the bus.
Proof that a little boy can play with a stick anywhere. Even in a concrete jungle where you wouldn't think they would allow sticks to fall to the ground!
I took those pictures of Logan while we were waiting for Craig and Liam to get off a Buzz Lightyear ride. Logan fell asleep soon after and Craig stayed with him while I took Liam on the Astro Orbiter. For the record, the line-up is about 10 minutes AFTER YOU GO UP THE ELEVATOR. Think about this carefully before promising your child you can go on this ride. I don't think I would be exaggerating much to say that Craig waited for us for an hour. Okay, I have checked the time on pictures taken in line and after.... And it looks like it was actually about 40 minutes. It's not that great a ride, either. I think that all us parents saw the sign that said 10 minutes and figured it was a quick was to give the kids a ride fix.
This was the Indy Speedway. Surprisingly, both kids were able to go for this one. We thought the height restriction would be higher. Liam and Logan loved "driving" the cars, of course!
Here is the "Move It! Shake It! Celebrate It! Street Party." The parades were great (apparently I like that kind of stuff!) but honestly, if you go to the Magic Kingdom and do not see a parade, please tell me how you did it. I loved watching them, but somehow they were always between us and where we wanted to go. This one is pretty short and fun, though.
